The Connection Through Creativity Project brings people together through shared creative experiences, supports community wellbeing, and fosters meaningful connection through the arts. The Connection Through Creativity Project provides free craft kits for for young children and their sibblings during extended medical stays in St. John's, NL. These craft kits include a small selection of simple craft activities that children can enjoy at their own pace. Each kit is created using familiar materials and art processes, offering moments of creativity and comfort, during what can be an overwhelming time for families. Please see craft examples below.
Families (or their supporters) are invited to email connectionthroughcreativity@gmail.com to request a craft kit. Please include the number of children that you are requesting craft kits for.
Community and non-profit organizations in Newfoundland and Labrador are invited to request free or low cost art classes. To inquire about scheduling a community art class please complete the inquiry form below or send an Email.
