Participation in art programs and activities involves the use of various materials and tools, such as paint, glue, scissors, and clay. While safety precautions are taken, when visiting the studio and participating in activities, you acknowledge and accept any inherent risks. The instructor and studio are not responsible for any injuries, allergic reactions, or damages that may occur.
Payments are due in full upon registration. All fee payments are non-refundable. Missed sessions will not be refunded or discounted.
If the instructor is notified in advance of the absence, registration may be transferred to another class or date when possible.
Media Release Statement
Photos of studio activities, student artwork, students, and the creative process may be shared online or in printed materials for educational and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have photos taken, please let us know us at the time of registration or while at the studio.
For the safety and well-being of all young artists, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when arriving for and leaving art programs.
Comfortable seating is available if you wish to stay while your child creates (due to seating limits, we do ask that only one parent/guardian accompany each artist during programs).
All artists are expected to follow safety guidelines and behave respectfully in the studio. Our studio is a welcoming space where all are encouraged to express themselves creatively. Discrimination, bullying, or disruptive behavior of any type will not be tolerated.
Artists are expected to respect the space, supplies, and materials. Intentional misuse or damage may result in removal from the studio.
To maintain a safe and clean creative space, we kindly ask that all artists and visitors refrain from bringing food or drinks into the studio. Bottled water is permitted - we have a Keurig in studio for parents/guardians to enjoy a tea/coffee while children create.
In the event of closure or cancellation due to weather, instructor illness, or other circumstances beyond our control, any programs, classes, or lessons will be rescheduled at a later date.
In the event of severe weather, we generally follow the closure decisions of local schools and transit systems. If schools in our area or Metrobus services are canceled due to weather, our studio will also close.
Our studio and programs are closed on the following days annually: Easter Sunday, Canada Day, Labour Day, National day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New year's Eve, and New Years Day.
Art Party Booking & Cancellation Policies
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm party bookings. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event. If a party is canceled with less than 48 hours' notice or "no shows", the full amount will still be billed. In cases of extreme weather, family illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, the party may be rescheduled at the instructor’s discretion.
